We are currently looking for an experienced Sod Delivery Semi Driver with a valid CDL Class A license.
The successful candidate must have a clean driving record and previous experience loading and unloading palletized products is preferred. Responsibilities include managing truck logs, safely operating the vehicle on sod farms as well as highways/interstates, efficiently adhering to delivery schedules set by dispatch, making job site and customer deliveries in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service during each visit, loading and unloading sod from trailers/semi-trucks on various job sites, completing additional tasks assigned by the supervisor such as product pickups or maintenance of vehicles or equipment. This position the ability stay organized under pressure while working in adverse weather conditions if needed. Weekly pay.
Crew Leaders - Arcadia, FL
We are looking for an experienced crew leader to lead our sod installation team.
The ideal candidate should have great leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a group of individuals while working alongside them. Responsibilities include scheduling, delegating tasks, supervising job performance, inspecting work product quality, safety oversight and other associated duties as required by management. A successful crew leader must possess strong organizational abilities in order to ensure that the jobs they manage are performed in a timely manner without compromising on quality standards. This position also requires excellent communication skills so that instructions can be clearly conveyed both within the team and externally to clients. Weekly pay.
Sod Installers - Arcadia, FL
We are seeking an experienced Sod Installer/Laborer to join our team.
The perfect candidate has experience working with sod, is highly reliable and detail oriented with the ability to take initiative. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Preparing soil for sod installation, Installing freshly harvested sod, Watering and fertilizing turf areas, Meeting deadlines while working with accuracy and efficiency, Completing various job sites, in addition to additional tasks assigned by the supervisor such as product pickups or maintenance of tools and equipment, Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
